BASTROP, LA. Funeral services for Glenn Brown will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Tillou Baptist Church. Reverends Doug Edwards and Andy Myrick will officiate the services. Interment will follow at the Causey Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.

Odis Glenn Brown was born December 14, 1954 at Bastrop, Louisiana to LaWayne Brown and Doris Nolan Brown. He died August 10, 2013 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana following a brief illness.

Glenn was a member of the Causey Hunting Club. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed good fellowship with family and friends, sitting around a bon-fire, listening to good music.

Glenn is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Susie Brown of Bastrop; his son, Steven Brown and his wife, Heather Harp Doles of Bastrop; his parents, LaWayne and Doris Brown, and three siblings, Carol Neathery and her husband, James "Jabo" Neathery, Jerry Brown, and Bonnie Bolding and her husband Mark Bolding, all of Bastrop.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mr. Brown's nephews, Chris Scott, Lane Scott, Daniel Brown, Derrick Vail, Brady Scott, and Bubba Stephenson.

Honorary pallbearers are Larry Lusby, Buzz Sawyer, Michael Bulloch, Theron Scott, Dennis Blackard, Tim Musgrove, and Vance Goodman.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 11th, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Tillou Baptist Church.
